Road Scholars Applications Open —
We will begin accepting applications for the next two-year (2023-2024) Road Scholars roster on June 6, 2022. Our Road Scholars Speakers Bureau roster features speakers hailing from many different communities across Illinois who offer presentations on topics in history, archaeology, philosophy, literature, theater, film, music, politics, and other subjects that are thought-provoking and engaging. This coming year we will be celebrating 25 years of Road Scholars!
We seek speakers with public speaking or teaching experience who bring expertise and passion to their chosen subject matter. The Road Scholars Speakers Bureau is an opportunity to bring a unique, humanities-driven perspective to communities throughout the state.
