Disaster survivors need accurate information and lots of resources to cope with and fully recover from these emergencies.
This class provides the necessary steps to follow as people go through recovery after a disaster. Join Housing Action Illinois and Diversified Resource Network to learn more about how to:
- Respond to disasters such as pandemics, floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes
- Work with clients, residents, and consumers
- Follow up on things such as foreclosure avoidance, safety, insurance claims, and shelter
- Work with resource agencies such as FEMA, the SBA, the GSEs, and HUD both during and after disasters
