JOIN US! Join us on Friday, October 28, 2022! The Breakin’ It Down conference will return in person at NEIU’s  Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies located at 700 East Oakwood Boulevard in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood. Launched in 2003, the Breakin’ It Down conference grew out of a desire to engage diverse nonprofit management and fundraising professionals in conversations about the present state and future of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. This year’s theme is “Defining Leadership.”At 2022 BID, we’re exploring the ways nonprofit professionals and philanthropists are redefining leadership to create systemic change and collective impact in the post-pandemic era inspired by purpose and commitment. This one-day event incorporates concepts and strategies that enhance learning, such as Plenary Panel discussions, Workshops, and Speed Networking sessions that prioritize engagement and participation. Templates, tools, and other takeaways from each session that you can implement immediately at your organization. Visit our website at www.breakinitdownchicago.orgfor more information and for updates.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? The Breakin’ It Down conference is designed for seasoned and emerging nonprofit, philanthropy, and fundraising professionals serving under-represented communities in the Chicago area. The conference is also of interest to community activists and students.
