Our popular session “Speed Networking with Funders” will cap the Virtual Workshop Series on October 30! Meet industry leaders to learn about their organizations’ funding priorities, application processes, and other resources available.    Registered participants will be able to select up to three 20-minute sessions from the digital tables, which will be marked with the funder’s areas of interest.  

WHY WE DO THIS EVENT<\/strong>
To provide diverse nonprofit professionals serving diverse communities with opportunities to strengthen network circles integral to organization success.

Conference Fee<\/strong>: Price for 2020 Breakin’ It Down Workshop Series registration has been reduced in the virtual environment:  

Speed Networking with Funders<\/strong>: $15.  Registration Deadline: October 25, 2020<\/em>  <\/em> Each participant from an organization will need to register separately AND will need their own computer,  tablet, or other device.<\/em>  

Need-based conference scholarship for nonprofit organizations professionals and students<\/strong>
Breakin’ It Down will be sponsoring need-based scholarships for 20 nonprofit professionals and students to attend the 2020 Breakin’ It Down Virtual Workshop Series and Speed Networking with Funders. Anyone who is a nonprofit fund development professional or student in the Chicago area is welcome to apply. We especially encourage people from an under-represented group – including people of color, women, LGBTQIA+ people, and people with disabilities – to apply. Online applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on October 25, 2020, to participate in the 2020 Breakin’ It Down Virtual Workshop Series.  All applicants will receive a response by October 26, 2020.
