Attorneys with Chapman & Cutler will describe the IRS requirements of fiscal sponsors, how those requirements frame the relationship with the sponsored agency, and the components that can be included in a fiscal sponsor agreement, including control and decision-making, insurance, employees and compensation, and financial reporting. Finally, gain insight into practical considerations for establishing a healthy relationship with a fiscal sponsor, and when it is time to incorporate and apply for income tax exemption.
